Overview

The now.gg Shield Module provides a secure environment for Android games, enabling the game developers to effectively restrict the gameplay to only the BlueStacks App Player.

Nomenclature

Components

• BlueStacks Launcher – App launcher for Android games.
• BlueStacks App Player – BlueStacks App player for games.
• BlueStacks Backend – The BlueStacks backend server that provides the configurations and other data to the client(s), such as the App Player and Launcher.
• Game Client – An Android game client that will run inside the BlueStacks App player.
• Game Backend – The backend server that the game communicates with to get relevant data.
